Despite fears that the product wouldn’t take off in the West, sales have now reached 131,303, according to ChartTrack figures released today. In the US, Nintendogs has become the best-selling new franchise over a portable video game system.

Xbox Crash Reports
The "lucky" few who have managed to get their hands on the brand new Xbox 360 have reported that consoles have crashed during play due to several errors. Owners have voiced their complaints on message boards and discussion groups and have even posted evidence in the form of videos and photographs.
Users are being advised to call the Xbox help-line if they experience any difficulties, but spokesperson for Xbox Molly O’Donnell insists calls made to the company included a "very, very small fraction" out of all the consoles sold.
